I have actually had DSL (Damn small Linux) on a portable usb drive on my key chain for almost a year now, and its great, because no matter where I go, I have my home pc with me, just in case I want to show someone something or anything, its neat!

Just make sure you make some backups of the key since if you are using it to write and delete from usb key it might just stop working one day This thing happened to me and I had a lot of work on my key. Usb keys are just not meant to be written to and deleted from too many times
