That is great! Look at Suse. I had no idea it came from slackware and it changes its name from S.u.S.E to SuSE to SUSE.

Yep Slackware is probably the oldest distribution that is still alive and kicking !

Cool pic. Never seen um all together like that. Alot of those toward the end are specialty distros(where they branch off alot).

I use Fedora Core! if i need to use Linux and if i cant be bothered to boot my server i use a Slax Live CD

Do people still use slackware? I used when I first started using Linux about 10 years ago but haven't touched it since!

A lot of people still use Slackware. I really don't see any advantage with all those new distributions. Do you ?
