Migrating To Linux

One thing that's kept me from migrating to Linux is: I'd have to give up all the apps, etc I've accumulated that are Windows only.. any way around that?

I mean like specialized apps or games I've bought.. tho I guess you could do a dual boot but that kinda defeats the use of Linux then, eh?

Hey,
you can run VMWare to emulate windows in linux to run any windows program, but if you do this, make sure you have at least 2 gigs of memory, it can become a resource hog if you run to many at once.

Actually I would recommend CodeWeavers CrossOver Linux 6, I was just talking to a buddy about this, and he has been using this for some time and he has no complaints.
