How about basic questions, like what IS Unix? Lots of people have never even heard of it, you know. Or what is Linux? What's the difference between Unix and Linux? What flavor of Unix should I use?

Just some ideas...

Unix

I agree. I don't know too much about Unix or Linux either and would like to know the difference. There are just certain particular areas I don't know much about because I haven't gotten there yet. Could someone please describe why they are used, how they are used and which is the best?
