I'm not familar with Linux so I'll leave that for our Linux pros. But... I'm inclined to say yes based on the following info...

http://www.linspire.com/lindows_prod...s.php?info=iso

Look down at the 3rd note which starts with...

Date: 04.24.2006
Version: 5.1.427 (Linspire 5.0 V2)
Size: 672 MB
md5sum: 33b0b804535b1ae2b10177c67f281e2a

Under "Hardware Support Improvements... Modems" you'll find the following "Intel Corp. 537 PCI ID: [8086:1080], [1106:3086]"

Hopefully someone else can tell you exactly how to hook it up!

When in doubt ask them directly:

It doesn't seem to look like a windmodem so setting it up in Linux should be easy. Linspire has to have a utility that will do it for you if not search for kppp its a KDE dial up utility, it is easy to configure all you need to know is the phone number and you're userid and password.
