Your favorite Linux

I'm not sure if this has been asked, I did look through all of the threads and didn't see the topic though. So, here it is: What is your favorite flavor of Linux?

Mine: Suse then Redhat

Suse was bought out by Novell wasn't it?
My choice is fedora.

Yes, Novell owns Suse now. I always called it Soose but I spoke with a german and he said it is prenounced Suzy.

I use Fedora to host my websites. Very nice Linux flavor as well.

Yea, Novell is goin under imo(well not under, just not on top anymore). They are pushing SUSE as much as they can. vmware is taking over where novell seemed to fall short.

Well for me it is Zenwalk. It is Slackware derivate with just one application for one job
It uses xfce as window manages and it is really fast. Even faster than out of the box Slackware with X.org.

Well for me as far as a desktop is concerned I like SUSE, but as far as servers are concerned I wil stick with CentOS, its the closet you can get to redhat ES without having to pay a subscription.

My favourite distro is Slackware. I'm currently running Slackware 11.0 with the 2.6.17.13 kernel on three boxes. I also run Ubuntu 6.06 at work.

my favorite distro is Ubuntu..(currently using 7.10)
coz it is light, more community support and more over u can get UBUNTU Cd's for free...the delievery will take around 2-3 weeks but it's a boon to those people who don't have net connection in their home or those who have less speed and bandwidth limit..
u can get CDs's freely shipped to u at https://shipit.ubuntu.com/
..there is also shipit service for kubuntu and edubuntu

Fedora 8 probably, then Ubuntu.

I ran a non-gui version of something (forget now) on my server for a while which was fun

Also this category is really dead =/

Feel free to liven it up! I don't think we have very many UNIX/Linux users.
