It looks pretty bad for you as far as picking up U.S. satellite signals goes.

Have you looked into subscribing to a local satellite service, like Sky Mexico?

Red face Dish maybe ?

The nieighbor is using Dish network...not Direct Tv though...Any Idea How ? I ask him how he got it and he said a local come and install the 18" dish about a year ago....he still has a Denver billing address and is getting the east coast locals....but really doesn´t know much about how he is getting it. It doesn´t appear that dish offers service in the area....thanks for the help!

Just took acloser look at your nice graphic...looks like a 32" dish might work for me ...is that right ?.. The graph looks like if I put a 32" dish I could receive DTV...any help is great!

I'm not sure where Playa Del Carmen is, but I thought it was outside of even the green zone.

But I can only talk theory from here -- your neighbor can talk about actual on-the-ground reception fact.

Glenndee

Hi Glendee. I presume that you have solved your satellite TV problem in Playa del Carmen (this post is from 2008). However, if you are trying to get a DNetwork signal you will need, at least, a 1.1 meter dish to get satellite 119, and a 1.5 meter dish to bring in 110.

I don't know the rules here re: "live links", but if you replace the xx with the correct letters, here you go. hxxp//riviera-fta.webs.com
