Everynow and then when I click on some threads (the link straight to them and not the section itself, I get a forbidden page. When I hit back and go through the section and click the thread that way, it works. Anyone ever had this problem?

Yup, me too! I've gone 'round and 'round with our hosting company who says they can't find the problem. They keep asking me to tell them exactly how it happens so they can recreate the problem. That would be nice but the error message is intermittent and it happens all over the site, even in the Admin CP. So... no one can figure it out and that's why we're changing hosting!

could it not be in vb itself? Guess not, or others would have the same problem.

Could be but I don't think so. The error message says you don't have access to the server and it only started a couple months ago.

What is new since a couple of months ago (any new addons to VB)?
What browser are you using?
What Control Panel does your hosting company provide (CPanel, Plesk, etc.)?

I've never had this problem before and if I could recreate it I may be able to help (even if a little).

Well... I can't think of what's new in the last two months.

I'm using IE and I know Fire's a FF fan.

And, our hosting company has Cpanel.
