Do you mean buy mp3s? whats that all about then?

I've never bought a download but I buy cds sometimes, usually from play.com or ebay, I'd buy more but the music I like isn't exactly popular anymore so some stuff is hard to get. I download music "illegally" before I buy it for three main reasons:

1. I want to hear it before I buy it, especially with anything modern, modern music is 90% rubbish
2. It's not easily available, ie not popular, rare or out of print
3. I can't afford to buy it yet, but will when I can

I'm actually setting up an online shop for a record label which will eventually offer digital music sales, it will be completly independant of itunes or any of that corporate ripoff rubbish, the music will be cheap, the artists themselves will get a good share of profits, there wont be any advertising and there wont be any forms of copy protection

I use MusicMatch. You can download albums, or singles to a fille and build your own albums. Not to mention radio in the venue you like. I like the smooth jazz station and the classical station which I play while I'm doing my budjet and writing checks for bills.
