Cordless phone ratings

My old cordless phone sets disappeared with the ex-wife, so I'm in the market for a new set.

I'm looking for three cordless phones with good ratings from real customers.

What cordless phone models do you have and what kind of ratings would you give them?

Long ago I had a BPL cordless phone (you might not have heard about it) it was very expensive then in those days.

It was alright , fully functional for only *3 months* then it stopped working. I tried to replace the battery twice but it only made it work for a month max.

After that I threw it away, and did not try buying one again.

I heard even Sony pieces are good.
