Everybody's favorite mp3 player?

You know them, I know them, we all know them, mp3 players. What is everybody's opinions on the many brands of mp3 players, Iriver, Apple, Creative, etc.? I've heard many great things about Iriver. I don't seem to like Apple because of their protection, but the protection can be easily bypassed. Creative's portable media center seems to be able to match the new Ipod.

My MP3 player is actually a CD player. I burn MP3's onto a CD and play them.

My fiance has an Apple iPod Shuffle that he likes a lot.

I like the new Creative Zen MP3 players.
I like them better than ipod as they have a really good battery life.
They might be smaller capacity than Ipod, but you get more for your money since the battery lasts 4 times as long!

I like my Ipod Shuffle
Nice and small, huge capacity and very cool looking!

I enjoy being able to take it anywhere and not having it noticed, the only danger is losing it since its so small..

recently got a NW-E507 or something like that and it rocks. It's 1 gb, has shuffle, search, and has 50 hr battery life. It's a sony walkman and is able to play FM. "I'm lovin' it"

I would go with an Apple Ipod all the way, never buying one of the 'cheap' no name brand ones.

I tried to use an iPod a few weeks ago and I was very frustrated. I coudn't figure out the interface at all. It was terribly non-intuitive for me.

My MP3 player is either my Dell D800 notebook or my Samsung i730 CDMA phone with a 1GB SDCard and stereo headphones.

I refused to buy an iPod due to the high amount of complaints about the product.

Creative are a powerful manufacture when it comes to audio products which is one of the reasons I bought the 60GB Nomad Zen Extra Jukebox, ok its heavy as a brick but at least I know when (or IF) it drops it wont smash into pieces.

I have a K750i as well! Awesome phone but i dont really use it to listen to music much, I still have to 16mb card in it.
Currently i have a no name 512mb mp3 player.. its really cheap, so I'd love an Ipod

All of the Windows phones seem to have that problem, which is very odd because my old BlackBerry could run a week on a single charge.

Its not a windows phone. It just sucks. it is here:

Cnet rates it a 7.6 ... i guess they didnt test out the battery.
