How do you beam files from palm to palm?

Hey Digg,

This is a really kewl feature that allows you to share info with friends or coworkers if you both have at least a Palm III or maybe an earlier version that's been upgraded.

This is if you just want to beam a file or some data like a memo, address, etc.

1. You have to set the Palms facing each other three feet apart or less. Ideally, you want them on a flat surface.

2. Pick the file you want to send beam.

3. Touch the menu icon, and then display the Record drop-down menu.

4. Now, depending on what your beaming... pick the Beam Memo if you are using the Memo Pad... pick Beam Event if you are using the Date Book... pick Beam Address if you are using the Address List. You must have a specific address entry selected to beam an address and finally... pick Beam Item if you are using the To Do List.

And there ya go!

i like the whole pick up the chicks thing.

ok to the question. i could be wrong in some of there areas, i dont konw a whole lot about palm, but on my palm i can send either in ir, or by bluetooth. i opt the blue tooth method if possible.

i dont want to tell you wrong so ill just post the link to where you should be able to find the answer. http://www.palm.com/us/ there are many differant versions of palm and i dont know how differany they all are.
