Hi guys,

I want to buy a new Digi cam in the neighbourhood of Rs.8000 - Rs.9000. Following are my requirements:

1. 7.2 MP
2. 3x zoom (possibly 4x)
3. Red eye reduction and all those stuff
4.Must be slim and not a big box.

Can you please suggest me some models based on these. THANKS all

One feature that should be consider is image stabilizer..it's very important because armature photographer have a problem with shaking. I would suggest Canon Powershot series..just choose from series A430 to A710. The decision is yours.

Image stabilizer is very important as it prevents the blur in the captured images n noises caused by shaking of camera(generally when it's in motion) are avoided.

Other factors to look at includes lens quality, optical zoom, focal length...but megapixel is not so important...Canon A710 is the best buy & Canon n Nikon's lens r good normally
