Thumbs down

Hey all,

I have 2 Nokia for 4 years now. No problems with the phones. It's the Cell Company that sucks !! (Long story short). I moved to Northern Arizona from Kansas City, Ks. area about 2 months ago. I called T-Mobile to have my phone # changed to a local number. Guess what folks ? No such thing.
I called them up & complained & told them people here have to dial long distance to call me. My sister & brother-in-law live next door to me and they have to dial long distance.I'm in the process of starting a Computer Repair Business here in town & people have to dial "long distance"..... I don't think so !! I told some supervisor at T-Mobile that T-Mobile had themselves terminated my contact with them (voided the contract. I have threated them with contacting the F.C.C. & F.T.C. I was told that if I decide to "cancel" my contract with them, it would cost me $200.00 ...cancellation fee. I told them that I have a message they sent me on my phone (still saved) and the times I any their representative talk.........promising my that my "new' number would be local !! Now.....I'm in a "bind"........switch carriers ( and lose $ 200.00) or what ??
