I thought picasa was more of a photo organizer rather than editor?

Yeah, I don't think it's on par with Photoshop but it appears to have a few more bells 'n' whistles ("12 new visual effects") than just an organizer. I guess someone should hit download and play with it! :p

Any volunteers??? I don't have many pictures on my harddrive.

There's a new version out Picasa 2.. it's handy for me as it will auto-detect my digital and download pics from my camera. I also like the photo enhancing features (tho limited there are some nice effects). You can lock pic folders from prying eyes (can't see them in Picasa anyway).. I use it on occasion. It will even play some video. Best of all, it's free..

I have had it on my comp for about a month or so, just never used it. Will try it out and post a review.
