Is anyone having problems playing Halo 3 on Xbox 360 game consoles?
My son is purchasing and xbox 360 solely for the purpose of playing Halo 3 online. Does he need to purchase the Halo Edition console or will it play on any xbox 360 console? I am a little confused as I have had friends tell me that Halo 3 will not work on their consoles (they do not have Halo edition). Any others with that problem?

Welcome!

Check out Halo3.com I didn't see anything about having to have a special edition console. I looked here and while you're encouraged to get the cooler Xbox it doesn't say you MUST have it.

That would be stupid. Any regular Xbox 360 would be able to play the Halo 3 game. If you have any trouble when you get it let me know, I know someone who is highly intrested in Halo.
