Xbox 360 dying in middle of play?!

Well, as reviewers have stated, "I was playing my new Xbox360, and in the middle of my game, it just died." Personally, this would not make me want to buy this system. My brother was going to buy it, but then after I showed him the reviews, he changed his mind until Microsoft fixed the problem.

No, I didn't see that thread here, but I have read about it somewhere else. I think it is very sad, to tell you the truth. If you are going to buy something worth $500 and UP...it should work properly, and to a high standard.

Oh, without a doubt! Even if the "thing" were $5 or $50 companies should demonstrate some pride in their product!

I have no doubt Microsoft knew the X360 had issues! I'm sure someone over there did the math and figured it would be cheaper just to put it out, get all the first day sales and hype and deal with complaints later.

This whole issue is blown way out of proportion. I have one and it hasn't frozen or had any problems at all

Were you one of those who was first in line??

I wonder if the first "batch" was tainted and if later pieces off the assembly line were (quitely) fixed.

Microsoft have actually openly admitted that their was a problem with the earlier consoles and they have fixed the problem with the newer consoles. I don't know whether they are going to replace all of the earlier ones.

I preordered in June and got it about a week after launch...So I'm not sure if that's the first batch or not lol

i think the same thing happend to my brothers Xbox360.But he
got it fixed by the store that he bought it fom since he had warrante on it.
