I just came across something really interesting, and thought i'd enlighten all the nice people here at PC101.
Dan Raine, one of those successful internet-marketer types, has taken on a challenge that says he can't make $15,000 net profit in 30 days - by starting out with only $150. They're still deciding what Dan will have to forfeit if he loses, but one of the ideas is running around at a public spot in a pink leather thong. He also promises a video of the forfeit stunt on YouTube.
Anyway, Dan is going to document every step he takes in a blog which is completely free to view. From financial records, to ad clicks, to product sales - EVERYTHING.
It's really interesting - especially for those of us who know nothing about marketing - and is a good oppurtunity to learn some of the strategies marketers employ.
Oh, and another thing. Mr. Dan *generous* Raine is giving away the website and all of its profits to one of us. If he wins the challenge, that's $15000 + a steady income for some months to come.
