I read somewhere that Firefox 2 is out there in a Beta/RC Version and the Mozilla team are currently working on Firefox 3.

Anyone heard the same and / or where to get a copy of Firefox 2?

A pre-alpha release of Firefox 2 is due by March.

The final release of Firefox 2 is due this Summer.

Firefox 3 is currently scheduled for 2007.

Hmm, spell-check, session restore sound useful.

I wonder how they will implement the anti-phishing feature though.

Firefox 2.0 Beta 2 was just delayed for a week. It is now scheduled for release on 15 August.

So I wonder why they are calling this FF 2 instead of just another upgrade?
I imagine its going to feel, look and function quite differently.
