Firefox

I love Firefox, there are some really nifty extensions that I dont know how I lived without for so long.
And I LOVE the Google toolbar add on for firefox (though I know IE has this too).

Which browser do you prefer? Vote now :P

I have been testing Firefox for some time now, but...

My testing is telling me that the best browser currently available is a relatively unknown browser called SlimBrowser.

SlimBrowser uses the same rendering engine as IE, so it works with 99.997% of the pages that IE works with.

SlimBrowser maintains IE's look and feel, which I actually prefer to the Mozilla browsers.

SlimBrowser is a tabbed browser. This enables me to keep fifty web sites open concurrently without bringing my machine to a grinding halt. Try that with IE and then check your systems available memory.

SlimBrowser remembers your open pages and can re-open them for you next time you start your browser. This is similar to the functionality provided to Firefox by the SessionSave extension.

Firefox just crashed and lost all of my "saved" open tabs.

I am not a happy camper.

Firefox crashed??
I have never had that problem before I have to say.

I love FF, and have used it since version 0.9 I think.

I know the next IE is going to copy alot of FF features including tabbed browsing... typical

I was waiting for a Firefox horror story to justify my IE usage..

Lol ... using IE will get you a virus that will fry your hard drive. Maybe not, but it's viruses are much more likely when you use IE. Plus Firefox just updated, maybe you should give it a try because they fixed a lot of bugs.

Here is how i deal with the browser problems..

IE - Only use for updates
Firefox - For Portal sites
Opera - for...umm...18++

I advise that u only use IE ONLY when updating...

but overall..the best is OPERA!!..ITS FREE NOW@!!~!~

Firefox is ok, but it does have a crashing problem! Otherwise, I really love the ability to have 10 windows or more open at one time without it being unorganized.

Yes, that is absolutely true. Firefox also keeps crashing on my PC.

This usually happens when I'm opening too many tabs.

That is why I choose Opera. It's 100% stable.

Firefox is the most stable web browser I have ever used. I don't even remember it crashing on me since a couple of months ago. Slower computers might want to stay clear from Firefox, though.

Your computer's not that slow. It's pretty decent. You could be able to use Firefox efficiently. How many tabs can you open up until it crashes?

128MB RAM would make your computer SEEM slow.
Upgrade the RAM. The CPU is fast, its just the lack or memory slowing it down and causing crashes.

Yeah, you might want to upgrade if you have XP. XP really slows down computers like that.

You could also upgrade your RAM for pretty cheap. 1GB is less than $100 these days. 512MB would be fine.

Firefox, IE is to slow and has to many pop-ups, Opera is to confusing, and I have yet to try the other.. probably won't though. I'm pretty satisfied with Mozilla.

I find IE faster than mozilla, but I still would rather use Mozilla.
IE is super fast, how is it slow for you?

I use Firefox mostly here, but IE is still handy just in case something isn't compatible with Firefox.
