I can´t see sites with "javascript:void(0)"

I have a problem:
When I click on a link on a website, the following message appears in the bottom of my browser: "javascript:void(0)"
Then nothing happens, although I have made sure that javascript is activated in my browser (Firefox 1.5.0.8), that my popup blocker is disabled, and that web proxy is disabled.
Does anybody have any idea what I should do to see the window that never appears?
If so, I would be very thankful indeed!
Kind regards, Asa in Sweden.

What website are you browsing that is giving you this error? It will help diagnose the error if we can repeat it.

How's chello.se? My company helped build chello.se, although I personally spent almost all of my time with chello.nl.

The site is https://www.ratsit.se/
You will have to log on to the site to search for a person. Then you get a hitlist and then the problem appears. Can I send you a private message to give you my username and password so you can test it?

The site is overloaded right now; I'll check again this evening.

I've just tested with with the same version of Firefox as you are using, 1.5.0.8.

Everything seemed to work fine for me.

You have already applied three of the four usual client-side fixes for the javascript void(0) problem:
  1. You have disablabled your popup blocker.
  2. You aren't using a web proxy. (right?)
  3. You have enable JavaScript.
The fourth fix is to upgrade your web browser or switch to an alternative web browser. Is this the only web site which is failing in this way for you? Have you considered FireFox 2.0, Opera, SlimBrowser, or IE?

One more thought -- you might be running a web proxy without knowing it. chello.se might be pushing your traffic automatically and transparently through a caching proxy. We set up Inktomi caches when we first setup chello.se. You might have to contact them to ask what they are doing now.

I've also tried to upgrade to Firefox 2.0 without that solving the issue. I've also tried with Internet Explorer 6.0

I think I'm not using a web proxy but to be sure - how do I check that in Firefox and in IE?

Yes, this is the only website that I have problems with. I guess I didn't give you all the instructions in my last private message to you. Because when you search the person and get the hitlist, you will have to click on the button "Small" and then log in with my username and password. THEN a line shows saying "? Notering". You are supposed to click on the ? to see a window with more information, but here is where I don't succeed.
Did you go all this way, clicking the "Small"-button and logging in with my account?

If I contact chello.se, what should I ask them to see if the problem is at there place?
