Rep Power: 0 | Haha! Looks like I just broke the tie with "don't even suggest such a thing" !
I was thinking that I've been without my computer and internet access for extended periods while on vacations, but upon review, I really never have been. There are few places or people one can visit these days where there is not an internet connected computer!
Probably the longest I've been without access was during a 4 day power outage we suffered here where I live a few years ago. I wonder how we managed??
I must have blocked out the horror, because I can't remember!

Rep Power: 0 | hehe, yes times were alot different back then werent they?
Im glad I had my childhood without computers to be honest, I didnt get a computer until I was about 12, so I spent 12 years enjoying the outdoors before that :p
Kids now seem to stay inside alot more. |

Rep Power: 3 | Hm, seeing as I'm basically chained to the thing, I don't think I'd do well without it for long.. what I'd really hate <shudder> is if I ever had to resort to dial-up connections again!

Rep Power: 0 | I voted for the week, but that was only to include when I'm vacationing. Most of the time, I don't go a day without internet. When I'm vacationing, I'm usually out camping, staying in a tent, and there's no electricity for miles. Maybe one day I can afford a laptop with a big battery and bluetooth or something.

I have just two/three sites that I play with and still find it difficult to keep up! Maybe I should start a time managemenet site! LOL

Rep Power: 0 | I've gone... drumroll... THREE WEEKS without computer, internet, TV, that's right. However, it would be hard to now. I have a lot of Internet committments and a lot of work to do, so now, I don't think I could do it. |

Rep Power: 0 | What a great poll! I use to be able to not go online for months on end when we first go out PC. Now I can live with out it for more that a few hours at a time. I'm always checking my email and surfing for questions that I want answered. I wish I new this was going to be such a big thing back when gates started microsoft! |

My mom was told by a friend that she should buy stock (I think it was late 70's or early 80's) in this new computer company but, she had been taught to buy only what she knew or felt comfy with. So, as a nurse she would only buy medical or pharmaceutical stocks. You guessed it, she passed on Microsoft! Ugh! |
