Internet

Hello. Is there anyway I can get a good Internet connection that is locked just to me. The other thing is, it must be global. Around the world. So no matter where I go.

I will always have an Internet connection. Is this even possible? Help me out.

Thanks,
BlueEew.

BlueEew,

To answer your question(s).......wireless !! Be it a wireless card or built-in wireless. Then you MUST have a wireless internet provider. Or you can bounce off "unsecured" internet connections. the only fall back of "unsecured" internet connections is that when you get out of range, the connection is dropped.

What do you mean, "locked just to me?"

Basically I want a wireless Internet connection that only I can use (so no one uses my Internet for free). I also want it to be wireless all other the world. So no matter where I go.

I will always have my connection.

You should check out one of these, this is what your looking for, they are wireless broadband cards for laptops and work the same as a smartphone data plan, you pay a monthly fee, and only you can use the connection.

Sprint Mobile Broadband
Verizon Wireless Broadband
AT&T Laptop Connect

These are nice, I would have one personally myself, but they are much more expensive than a cell phone plan. You could also get a smartphone with a tethered data plan. The tethered plan allows you to connect your laptop to your phone to access the internet as a modem, and again, only you can use it. Basically, none of this uses Wi-Fi so your good.

Thanks for those. However I cannot seem to find a price on any of those. Maybe you can tell me roughly how much this will cost?

You have to go to each site and enter where you live, and they will tell you how much it costs per month for the service. The modem cards them selves are $50 USD, and I think the average service plan is about $40 USD a month.

I live in the UK so I will be having to find a provider that dose the Internet like that. Anyways with this $4o plan you are talking about. You get the Internet at home and where ever you go. You can have more then one computer?

So I might be at home and my mom might be on holiday with a Laptop. We live in the same house.
