Exclamation Internet Script Error

Hello,
Any time I'm on Internet Exlorer and try to print anything I get this error message. Now I can close the error box and click print again and sometimes it will let me print after the first time and sometimes I have to close it a couple of times. I hope someone can tell me how to fix it. This is the error I get.

Internet Script Error
Line: 93
Char: 1
Error: Access Denied
Code: 0
URL: res://C:\windows\system33\shdoclc.dll/preview.dlg

Thank you for your help.

Does it really say system33? If so, that's very spooky and I would do an immediate search for malware on the system.

If it says system32, then we're back to more normal software bugs.

This looks very much like an issue which is already known by Microsoft, Cannot Print in Internet Explorer if Surfairy Is Installed.

So, the obvious questions are:
  1. Is Surfiary installed on that PC?
  2. What version of Internet Explorer is installed on that PC?

Jumping ahead, even if Surfiary is not installed, you may be able to work around this problem by disabling third-party browser extensions in Internet Explorer. The steps to do so are:
  1. Start Internet Explorer
  2. On the Tools menu, click <Internet Options>
  3. Click the <Advanced> tab
  4. Click to clear the "Enable third-party browser extensions (requires restart)" check box.
  5. Click <Apply>
  6. Click <OK>

RE: Internet Script Error Reply

No it's not 33, you were right it did show 32. My operating system is Windows XP Home.
What is Surfiary? And how do I find it on my computer?
Then what about those normal software bugs????

What version of Internet Explorer are you running?

Surfairy is an error-page hijacker. Surfairy works by configuring itself as an IE Browser Helper Object. When IE has a DNS or 404 error, Surfairy redirects you to a page full of advertising.

You can remove Surfairy by going into Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel.

Ah, I wrote that poorly. By "normal software bugs", I was referring to this IE/Surfairy issue -- as opposed to something really weird with system33.
