New Virus

Have you guys heard about this new virus that has been spreading around the internet. It arrives in the form of an e-mail that has a strange subject, (which I believe is related to porn). When you open the virus nothing will happen but it will become active on the third day of each month, disabling anti-virus software and then deleting important files.

No, I don't think I've heard of this one. Maybe we can find more information out about it??

I think you are talking about the big virus that comes on the 3rd friday of every month. I have never gotten it and probably never will(or atleast hope so). Just be careful what emails you open and you will be set. Most everyone nowadays has malicious code in their comp and don't even know about it

That's the best way to go. Be aware too though that sometimes just visiting a site will install a virus on your computer! So, be sure to keep your anti-virus software up to date.

Yeah,I know, that's why I try not to visit sites that have a high chance to have a virus, and of course I have antivirus that i think is quite good,NOD32
and being paranoid I also have over 5 adaware/spyaware progs, and I check my comp with them almost every day
