What is a good proxy to use to get past WebSense?

I maintain a very short list of the best anonymous proxies. There are also a good number of other anonymous proxy lists.

Alternatively, if you have a public IP address, you can also setup a proxy server of your own.

i tried all of those proxies. they all get stopped. i need to make a new one. will someone show me how? websense is getting pretty gay. i hade a proxy from brajah.com. it worked but noone clicked on the ads, so it shut down. someone help me out!

To setup a proxy server you just need to install some software on a system that is accessible from the Internet.

Install and configure something like CGIProxy or PHPProxy to create your own web proxy.

Also, have you tried using Tor to get around WebSense by using onion routing ?

id like to, but i cant get around websense to set one up. it keeps saying proxy avoidence. i found a proxy, but its slow as poo and has very minimal options. do i have to go somewhere without websense?

To set up your own proxy server, you will need to start from some place where you can connect out and you will need another place to install software.

If you don't want to install any software, try Torpark, which is Tor on a USB flash drive.

That's the idea!

It seems to me that Tor should work against WebSense, but I can't get behind a WebSense content filter to give it a good test.
