My RAM Is 512 MB, but I really think I should upgrade it. It goes pretty fast but can't handle large games that I play. I mean, they work, but they go slow sometimes and lag. Should I upgrade it, and if I do, how much will it cost?
I just assumed it was my RAM, nothing seems to be wrong with my CPU. And even it if it was my CPU, a little RAM couldn't hurt. RAM is like money, you can never have too much.
Well, I know that most games require an "X" speed on the CPU and an "Y" quantity of RAM.
Memory is pretty but if you still have the box, see if the the CPU you have currently is sufficient for the game. OR, go to the site and see what they say the game requires. If you're good in the CPU area then yeah, you may lack enough memory!
I never knew CPU speed was a factor, although that does make sense. I checked on the box, and I have the recommended CPU, but for RAM, I don't meet the recommended but I do have the minimum. Looks like I should upgrade.
