So far I've joined one fan site and few forums,but I doubt I'll ever join Role Plays,don't know why,I guess it's just not my thing.

I'm on NamePros and since PC101 started I've joined the various webdesign/admin type sites like... TheAdminZone.com and VBulletin.org And about 5 others that I can't think of right now... I'll have to check my favorites list and get back to ya! lol

I join forums most of the times... Type of forums varies from the content of the forum and the active the members are....

I join friends sites, a couple of web forums, electronic forums, and sports sites(si.com, espn.com).
Played runescape for about 2 yrs on the classic version(used to be the only one. Eventually quit about 6 months ago when autoers started taking over way to much.

i am in forums only because most time i spend in order to learn about net nowadays forums are becomming popular and different forums
this is the one an example PC101 is 80% different from name pros you cant find answers there about your PC problem but you can find here with low members also

anyway i have to learn more about PCs troubleshoot as i am going to a cafe soon

I mostly join forums and sometimes join webmaster's resources sites .. this is what help me in my interests .. Website design and website administrating.
