18" or 33" ?

Hi again all , I'm brand new to FTA and was wondering: I found a Coolsat 5000 package deal on E-bay that comes with an 18" dish. Is there any advantage to getting a 33" dish instead. My main incentive is picking up some west coast CBS stations to watch Oakland Raider football games. Living in S.E. Ohio our CBS stations usually only broadcast Pittsburgh Steeler games because that is the closest Pro football team in our viewing area. Any help is greatly appreciated , thank you.

A larger dish will allow you receive more channels and will help to reduce the effects of rain fade.

If you can find a space for a larger dish, I highly recommend that you use one.

The only place you would need a 33" dish is far south... like Florida
