AMIBIOS 686 Driver
Where can I download a new AMIBIOS 686 driver? I want to upgrade my system BIOS.

BIOS updates are specific to makes and models of motherboards. It is not enough to know your CPU, you need to know who made your motherboard and what the model of your motherboard is.

Do you know the manufacturer and model of your motherboard?

I just found the manual that came with my motherboard.

It's a "Soyo SY-5ED."

You are in luck, in that Soyo is one of the manufacturers that still provides BIOS upgrades and drivers for a motherboard that old.
