Asus or Abit?

Asus or Abit? Which would you go with and why?

Asus all the way!
Asus is a long standing company, with great warrantys and good customer service.
there boards are also more likely to be compatible with all brands of memory.
and if your into overclocking, there boars are more likely to be unlocked.

I have had issues with many board makers, and I will only buy asus, biostar or gigabyte motherboards from now on. And the type of cpu depends on what board I will by, if its an Intel, asus only. AM2 amd, gigabyte, and any other amd would be biostar, I know, I am strange!

What kind of system are you putting together?

For as long as I can remember my bro (real computer geek) has sung Asus' praises. So, I'd have to go with Asus!

My guess is he had already decided...

But for me Asus rocks.

Ever since the P3-BF came out in '99, I have been sold on the company and the MB's.

I prefer Asus over albit, but I used a gigabyte MB in my last PC I built, which is performing flawlessly.
