I recommend the Abit AI7 motherboard for a socket 478.
If you can find one that is, like you said they dont make them anymore so you need to find someone with old stock.

It might just be cheaper for you to ditch that CPU and buy a newer CPU with the new socket technology.
You can get celerons cheap and they work really well
I agree, I threw out my S478 stock last year, its just too tough finding replacement parts.
Waste of money, but meh.. thats the nature of this damn computer hardware business!
Checkout newegg.com, Im sure they have a bunch of good S478 Mobos, I got mine from them back in the day. =D

Alot are ex-demo's though, some might even be second hand.
I still think its best to toss it out and spend $200-$300 on a cheap AMD CPU and motherboard.
