The mobo.. says FSB 800MHz Hyper Transport (1600MT/s) ....but how do i find the fsb on the proccesor? Would it be HT 2000MHz? This is my first comuter build as you can probably tell. |
The
Gigabyte GA-K8NF9 lists its supported AMD Athlon 64 Venice CPU's as:
- AMD Athlon 64 4000+(E6,Venice,90nm,1M)
- AMD Athlon 64 3700+(E6,Venice,90nm,1M)
- AMD Athlon 64 3200+(E4,Venice,90nm,512KB)
- AMD Athlon 64 3800+(E3,E6,Venice,90nm,512KB)
- AMD Athlon 64 3500+(E3&E4&E6,Venice,90nm,512KB)
- AMD Athlon 64 3200+(E3&E6,Venice,90nm,512KB)
- AMD Athlon 64 3000+(E3&E6,Venice,90nm,512KB)
This list is good for all four models of the GA-K8NF9, regular and Ultra, v1.x and v2.x.
All of them list the supported FSB (
Front Side Bus) as 2000.
Likewise,
AMD lists 2000Mhz as the only supported system bus speed for the AMD Athlon 64 3800+ CPU running at 2.4Ghz.
