system fan to cpu fan
Hi, does anyone know if i can hook a system fan to the connector on my motherboard that is for the cpu fan? I have my cpu fan hooked into a speedcontrol system so its not being used. Or will this efect the performance of the system fan or the computer in a whole? thanks dennis

All three of the cooling fan power connectors on the GA-K8NF-9 have the same pinout, so you should be able to use them interchangably.

Pin 1: GND
Pin 2: +12V
Pin 3: Sense

But, if you do, make sure to disable the CPU smart fan control in your BIOS.
