Do you have a router but not a wireless one, but wish you had a wireless network? Own a laptop with wireless capabilities that you don't use? Well I have got a solution for you.
I am currently camping up in New Hampshire, USA and I have a Sprint mobile internet card. So I have my laptop setup for the internet but, my Ipod Touch however does not have the internet

. Well I decided I would set out to figure out how to turn my laptop into a wireless router. I had no luck with Google so I did it on my own.
First you need to go to
Start -> Control Panel -> Network and Sharing
Once there look in the
Task sidebar there should be an option saying
Manage Wireless Networks click on it.
Now that you are there you should see all of the wireless networks you have connected to. Click the
+ Add button.
Select the
Create an Ad Hoc Network option. Then Click Next.
You get an option for the
Network name and security type, it's all up to you.
Then click
Next and you have finally setup a wireless network for your house with out running to Walmart.
NOTE: You should contact your internet provider and ask them if they have an updated version of your router because a lot (if not all) of ISP's have wireless routers.
