Make your desktop icons transparent

I just know some of y'all have some awesome wallpaper on your monitors! No doubt it would be more so if you're icons were clear! So...

Go to your Control Panel --> System --> Advanced --> Performance Area --> Settings --> Visual Effects tab and then choose Use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop.

Lemme know how it looks.
