Now, if you really don't have virus protection installed on your computer then perhaps this is a pop up you should keep! But for some who do have their computer protected, they're still getting this dern pop up!
Sometimes a switch to XP SP2 may cause inconvenience from an annoying popup message. This can bother users regularly. It tells people that their computer might be at risk for not having installed any antivirus software. But there is a technique to fix such dilemma.
Remember: This is a good reminder to
keep if you haven't gotten 'round to installing antivirus software.
Click the
Start button --> click
Control Panel --> click
Security Center icon. On the left side of the security center window, you will see a resources section. Click the bottom link, "
Change the way Security Center alerts me".
You can choose which alert to disable here. If you don’t have any antivirus software, simply uncheck the bottom checkbox.
