java-sip api

Hi,
I need to develop an application in java to make outbound and inbound applications through sip.I dont know where and how to start.I am unable to find even a sample application.please anyone refer me any url with sample application.

Ahh... you're like me!

If I'm not sure how something works I like to see an example and the I can reverse engineer it! I find that much easier and more enlightening than learning something step by step from the beginning!

It's not the wrong way for me! I usually only need to do one or two tasks on a piece of software and I don't have time to learn the WHOLE thing! So, if I can see how something already done the way I want it then I only have to study that one piece... not the whole thing!

I can be impatient at times so I don't always like to go step by step! It takes too long.
