Question - C#

I don't know alot about it, but i hear that C# is the new upcoming language, i don't know a whole lot about it. So i was wondering if anyone else did. And i hear it normally said as "C#.net"

Anyone else know about it?

Search it on wikipedia. fyi, the C-sharp is available since 2001, back when microshi* reveals .NET 1.0, the first gen of .NET. As I know, this language is a more powerful version of C++.

We had a coding section for a time but it didn't get some use. I can't say that I know much about coding at all.

I have never heard of C#. Is this the new C++?

If it's more powerful the C++ I guess it is the thing to learn. Coding projects in that would be good profits.

From Wikipedia...

C Sharp (programming language)

C# (see section on name, pronunciation) is an object-oriented programming language developed by Microsoft as part of the .NET initiative and later approved as a standard by ECMA (ECMA-334) and ISO (ISO/IEC 23270). Anders Hejlsberg leads development of the C# language, which has a procedural, object-oriented syntax based on C++ and includes influences from aspects of several other programming languages (most notably Delphi and Java) with a particular emphasis on simplification.

That site takes a lil while to load for me. But, I also like CodeCall. They're a young site but the Admin is really nice and I've had quite a few questions answered over there.

C# isn't technically a new language. It isn't necessarily any better than the rest either. It all depends how you think as a programmer and what types of programs you will be making. C has been around for years, and C++ is good to. My advice is to stick with one and run with it.
