Visual Basic

Anyone done any serious projects using Visual Basic? I've heard it's easy for beginners though.

I have made some games with Visual Basic, but they were not very complete. Just some very simple gameplay elements were used in the games.

I recently got my hands on Microsoft Visual Basic C++and a couple eBooks on how to use it. I also got ahold of Macromedia Flash Professional 8 along with a video tutorial on how to use it. I will be learning C++ and using Flash Pro as soon as I get the time lol.

Anyways my friend who I got this eBook off of was telling me how easy it was starting off and how C++ flows with this eBook. So if there is anyone wanting to learn C++ and teach themself PM me and I could send you them.

don't have visual basics but i have flash and it's relatively easy to make games. But you have to get good at actionscript. I usually use it to make movies.

Visual Basic is just okay for making games, it is quite slow when compared to C++.

I haven't used too much Visual Basic, but I used it as a starting point.
